Flower on the Sun

This image is not science fiction or computer or anything similar is created. This image is a region of the Sun, where hydrogen magnetic tubes that give that particular look so pretty.

In fact it is superheated plasma magnetically confined called fibrils.

Fibrils, the center of them, usually end in so-called spicules which are nothing more than plasma explosions. These usually last an average of 15 minutes. The areas where the fibrils are just specks (if you call it that) or where they are not spicules are specks. The specks are soft, magnetically stable areas.

In short, when no magnetic movement that leads the plasma generate two phenomena together, or exploits (spicules) or (specks) is maintained. The names have been put on the appearance itself, not for what they do, do not ask the impossible.
